University of Bradford


The University of Bradford is a public, plate glass university located in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. The university received its Royal Charter in 1966, making it the 40th university to be created in Britain, but its origins date back to the early 19th century. There are two campuses: the main campus located on Richmond Road and the School of Management, at Emm Lane.

The University of Bradford has a number of popular subjects which rank in the top 40 of the Guardian’s subject league tables. These include both Civil and Mechanical Engineering and Business Management and Marketing.

University of Leeds


One of the prestigious Russell Group universities (equivalent to the US Ivy League) Leeds University excels in the fields of business, management and marketing, ranking 9th in the UK in the Guardian’s subject league table.

The university has around 33,500 students, the eighth highest number of any university in the UK. From 2006 to present, the university has consistently been ranked second in the United Kingdom for the number of applications received, second only to the University of Manchester. Leeds Beckett University


The university is renowned for its undergraduate teaching. It is ranked by the Guardian in the top 40 for Biosciences and Civil Engineering and ranked 14th for Sports Science, with excellent sporting facilities

Liverpool John Moores University


In 1825 a small institution was founded that was to revolutionise education in Liverpool and provide opportunities for the working people of the city.

The Liverpool Mechanics Institute was founded by people of power and influence who recognised the transformative effects of education and the impact that learning and aspiration could have on individuals, communities and society. It was the first such institution to be founded in England.

University of Sheffield
